Psychological support for defenders

Psychological support for defenders

The assistance of qualified mental health specialists in the format of individual counseling can significantly ease both the return to family and society, and the continuation of fulfilling one’s duty to protect the homeland.

About Project

In the first months after returning to civilian life, service members often face isolation, misunderstanding, a sense of abandonment, despair, sadness, grief, a rapid descent into the darkness of depression, and the use of substances that only temporarily dull emotional pain at a high cost. These states are extremely difficult, and sometimes impossible to cope with alone. Working through them effectively requires specialized knowledge, professional guidance, and support.

Professional psychological support is also crucial for active service members, who face enormous daily pressures, stress, loss, and constant uncertainty.

We’ve assembled a team of qualified psychotherapists experienced in working with war-related trauma using evidence-based methods. We can offer you important, free support.

Sessions with our specialists take place via video call through whichever messenger is most convenient. Consultations are held once a week at a mutually agreed time. We don’t limit the number of sessions—we’re ready to provide support for as long as you need it.

How quickly are requests processed?
We try to process requests within a day; however, in some cases, finding a specialist who is ready to take on a new person can take several days.
