At United Humanitarian Front, we care about your privacy and commit to protecting your data. This Personal Data Processing Notice (from now on – Data Processing Notice) aims to help you understand how your data is processed using our website https://uhf.fund/ (from now on – Website).
This Privacy and Data Protection Policy (from now on – Policy) defines the regulation of relations between the Public Organization (from now on – Organization) and the Benefactor regarding their data.
ALL SUBJECTS OF PERSONAL DATA ARE OBLIGED TO READ THIS POLICY TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE ORGANIZATION COLLECTS AND PROCESSES PERSONAL DATA AND WHAT SECURITY MEASURES ARE APPLIED.
In carrying out its activities, the Organization complies with all terms and requirements provided by the current legislation of Ukraine, European legislation, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other international legislative acts on data protection.
1. TERMS
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Agreement, available on the uhf.fund Website unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
2. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
2.1. The Organization may collect and process the following information about you:
- Information you provide to the Organization: This is information about you that you provide by using the Website and the Website’s features, subscribing to email updates, providing charitable assistance (donations) through the Website’s features, communicating with the Organization through the options available on the Website, filling out Google forms for joining the UHF community, filling out registration Google forms for participating in our events, and so on;
- If you contact the Organization’s staff via the Website or other electronic communication means.
- Website metadata, which means information about how our Website is used. Metadata does not contain any personal information about you.
- Data about the type of donation and its amount.
- Information about you, collected by the Website and other systems: if you visit the Website, third parties may collect certain information about you and your visit, such as the type and version of your browser, as well as the pages on the Website that you visit, Internet Protocol (IP) address, and so on.
- Information collected by third parties about you on the Website by performing actions: This is information about you that you provide to third parties (for example, Facebook, Google, Twitter) using social networking sharing options available on the Website when moving from one page to another or by viewing materials that have links (open) to other platforms (websites).
2.2. The way the Organization processes your data depends on how you use the Website and interact with it. Some information may be provided directly by you when using the Website or otherwise; other information the Organization may collect and process independently using automated technologies employed on the Website.
2.3. Legal basis for data processing: when visiting the Website, the Organization processes your data if:
- The Organization has received your consent for such processing.
- Your data is necessary for the Organization to conclude and execute a contract with you or to carry out measures preceding the conclusion of a contract.
- In cases where the Organization has a legitimate interest in processing your data, this legitimate interest does not outweigh your interests in data protection or your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- In other cases, it is defined by current legislation. In some cases, the Organization may have a legal obligation to process your data or will process your data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
2.4. Automated processing mechanisms: The Organization and third parties may use automated information processing technologies to process information in some Website sections. The Organization uses cookies to store content and settings, allowing the Organization to process standard information that your browser sends to certain Websites you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and language, and the site from which you came, the pages you visit and the links you click on the Website. The presence of such technical information helps the Organization improve its Website.
2.5. The Organization may only use your data for the purpose and objectives defined by this Policy and current legislation, in particular (but not limited to):
- To process your request (appeal) to the Organization, made via the Website,
- To ensure your provision of charitable assistance (donations) using options available on the Website,
- To implement other statutory objectives of the Organization as prescribed by current legislation.
2.6. The Organization may collect personal data processed during your visit/use of the Website and fill out Google forms to join the UHF community and register Google forms to participate in events, including entering this data into the personal data database. The storage of your data is carried out in compliance with the requirements of current legislation in the field of personal data.
2.7. Your data is subject to deletion or destruction in the following cases:
- The end of a 2-year storage term or other term determined by current legislation.
- Termination of legal relations between the subject of personal data and the Organization unless otherwise provided by law.
- In other cases, it is defined by current legislation in personal data protection.
2.8. The Organization does not process personal data about racial or ethnic origin, political, religious, or philosophical beliefs, membership in political parties and trade unions, convictions for criminal punishment, as well as data related to health, sexual life, biometric or genetic data, except in cases defined by law.
3. DATA TRANSFER
The dissemination of your data is carried out exclusively with your consent or in cases specified by this Policy and current legislation. The Organization stores personal data in Ukraine. The Organization does not sell, exchange, or transfer personal data to legal or physical persons.
4. SECURITY
We value your trust in providing us with your personal information, so we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
5. AGE RESTRICTIONS
This Website is not addressed to anyone under the age of 18. We intentionally do not collect personal information from individuals who have not reached 18. If we discover that a person under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has provided us with personal information, contact us by writing to the email address office@uhf.fund so that we can take the necessary measures.
6. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTROL OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
6.1. When visiting/using the Website, you have the right to:
- Receive from the Organisation information not defined by this Policy regarding the processing, terms of access to your data, or to give appropriate instructions regarding the receipt of this information by individuals authorized by you, except in cases defined by law.
- Free access to your data.
- Correct information that you consider unreliable. You also have the right to demand that we fill in incomplete information.
- Receive a response to a request regarding the processing of your data in the manner and within the deadlines established by current legislation.
- Submit a reasoned demand with an objection against the processing of your data or regarding the change or destruction of your data if such data are processed illegally or are unreliable.
- Protect your data from illegal processing and accidental loss, destruction, or damage due to intentional concealment, non-provision, or untimely provision, as well as protect against the provision of information that is unreliable or defames the honor, dignity, and business reputation of an individual;
- Revoke your consent to the processing of personal data, as well as exercise other rights provided by current law in the field of personal data protection.
6.2. We have 30 days to respond if you submit a request. To use any of these rights, contact us at office@uhf.fund, indicating in the subject of the letter “GDPR Privacy Request.”
